This post has been sitting in my draft folder for over a month and I am sad that I am just now finishing it!
Very exciting things are going on with Joy Wilson Photography…..I am expecting our first little bundle of joy! Brad and I celebrated our 5th anniversary in April and thought it the perfect time to start a family. We are now 4 months pregnant and are over the moon with excitement. Baby Wilson is due January 31, 2011- it is as if Baby knows exactly when my business is slowest and chose to come around that time! I am planning to begin my wedding season in April of next year (unless I just feel really fantastic and want to get out there sooner than I think!) so I can have time to spend with my little baby. After my time off I will resume all weddings and sessions as usual and will definitely continue to travel back and forth to Atlanta and really anywhere else. I am praying that Baby will be a good traveler….unlike I was when I was a baby.
We are so very excited about this wonderful news and am so glad to have finally shared it on this blog. I will continue to photograph my weddings for the remainder of this year and also will have plenty of time for family/children/misc sessions as well. I am planning to work up until my due date, or as long as my body will let me so please do not hesitate to inquire about a session. And because every post is better with a photo, here is Baby Wilson’s very first picture!
